Psalm 119
How can a young person stay on the path of purity?
By living according to your word. (v. 9)I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you. (v. 11)
I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word. (v. 16)
Your statutes are my delight; they are my counselors. (v. 24)
Turn my eyes away from worthless things; preserve my life according to your word. (v. 37)
You are good, and what you do is good; teach me yourdecrees. (v. 68)
May I wholeheartedly follow your decrees, that I may not be put to shame. (v. 80)
Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens. (v. 89)
Your commands are always with me and make me wiser than my enemies. (v. 98)

No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (money).
Mal. 3:8-12
"Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me! But you say, In what way have we robbed You? In tithes and offerings. You are cursed with a curse, For you have robbed Me, Even this whole nation. Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, That there may be food in My house, And try Me now in this, Says the Lord of hosts, If I will not open for you the windows of heaven And pour out for you such blessing That there will not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, So that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, Nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field, Says the Lord of hosts; And all nations will call you blessed, For you will be a delightful land, Says the Lord of hosts."
1) Tithing is the primary way that we consistently honor God with our finances
2) Tithing is a percentage commitment to the Lord on all our income
3) Tithes should be brought to "The House" so that there can be "food" in His house
